Chandrayaan 3 lunar bound maneuvers are completed What is next step of ISRO Know
In a tweet, ISRO wrote, “Today's successful process was necessary for a short period of time. Under this, Chandrayaan-3 was established in the 153 km x 163 km orbit of the Moon, which we had estimated. With this the process of entering the Moon's range was completed. Now the propulsion module and lander are ready for separation.
Chandrayaan-3 Mission:
Today’s successful firing, needed for a short duration, has put Chandrayaan-3 into an orbit of 153 km x 163 km, as intended.
With this, the lunar bound maneuvres are completed.

ISRO said that there is a plan to separate the lander module from the propulsion module of Chandrayaan-3 on August 17.
According to PTI report, after being launched on July 14, Chandrayaan-3 entered the lunar orbit on August 5. After that, on 6, 9 and 14 August, the orbit of the Moon was changed and it was taken closer to the Moon. As per the plan, Chandrayaan-3 is expected to make a soft landing on the south pole of the Moon on August 23.
Quoting ISRO sources, PTI has written that after separation, the lander is expected to undergo a “deboost” (slowing down process) to place it in an orbit. ISRO Chairman S. Somnath had recently said that the most important part of the landing is the process of bringing the lander's velocity from an altitude of 30 km to the final landing. We will have to show our ability there. S. Somnath said that we also have to ensure that fuel consumption is low, distance calculations are correct and all mathematical parameters are correct.
