When this asteroid belonging to the Apollo group of asteroids will be closest to the Earth, the distance between the two will be about 7 lakh 56 thousand kilometers. This distance is very minor compared to the vastness of space. For this reason, this asteroid is included in the category of potentially dangerous for the Earth. However, it is not likely to hit our planet.

The name of the second asteroid coming close to the Earth today is Asteroid (2023 PA1). It is about 98 feet wide i.e. equal to an airplane and it will come close to the Earth by 25 lakh 20 thousand kilometers. It is also not likely to collide with the Earth. The name of the third rocky disaster is – Asteroid (2023 OE5). It can be 59 feet wide, i.e. as big as a house. This is also an asteroid belonging to the Apollo group and when it comes closer to the Earth, the distance between the two will be reduced to 15 lakh 50 thousand kilometers. It is also not likely to collide with the Earth.

The fourth asteroid which can come close to the Earth today. His name is-(2023 PS). It is about 56 feet wide and can pass close to the Earth at a distance of 25 lakh 40 thousand kilometers. This has also been considered potentially dangerous for our planet.

According to NASA, asteroids are also called minor planets. Like the other planets in our solar system, asteroids also revolve around the Sun. Scientists have so far detected 11 lakh 13 thousand 527 asteroids.
