Adani Group Chief Gautam Adani, who has business in many countries, has regained the position of Asia's richest person. Recently, the Supreme Court had said that there is no need for a new investigation into Hindenburg Research's allegations against Adani Group.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Gautam Adani's net worth has increased by about $ 7.7 billion to $ 97.6 billion due to the strong rise in the shares of Adani Group companies in the last few days. He has left behind Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani. Ambani's net worth is 97 billion dollars. Adani, a first generation businessman, started as a diamond trader in the 1980s. Adani Group's business is related to ports to power sector. Last year, despite Hindenburg Research denying the allegations of corporate fraud, there was a huge fall in the shares of listed companies of Adani Group. Adani Group suffered a loss of more than $150 billion due to this.

After this, Adani Group spent several months to bring back investors, reassure lenders and repay the loan. Last week, after the Supreme Court ordered the markets regulator SEBI to conclude the investigation of Adani Group within three months, the shares of its companies have seen a strong rise. Along with this, the Supreme Court had said that there is no need to further investigate this matter.

After the Supreme Court's decision, Gautam Adani's wealth has increased by approximately $13.3 billion. Adani Group plans to invest $100 billion over the next decade in making its businesses environmentally friendly. Along with this, the business of this group is being diversified rapidly. Its new businesses include data centres, artificial intelligence, airports and media. Adani Data Networks, a unit of Adani Enterprises, had bought 400MHz spectrum in the 5G spectrum auction for about Rs 212 crore. Adani Group had said that it plans to use this spectrum for its data centers as well as for the app that is being built to support its business.
