Union Minister of Science and Technology Jitendra Singh gave information about this from ISRO. The minister said that the first trial for Gaganyaan can be done in October. Gaganyaan is an ambitious mission of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in which the company is preparing to send humans to space, which will be done at an altitude of 300-400 kilometers.
Speaking at ISRO, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that the first trial of Gaganyaan can take place in October. It's only next month. Earlier, ISRO Chairman S Somnath has also said that a mission can be launched in late September or early October. ISRO Chief said that they can launch a mission for Gaganyaan at the end of September or, in October. In which crew module and crew escape capabilities can be demonstrated. After that there will be many consecutive tests.
And finally, a mission with humans is potentially being prepared to be sent into space by 2025.
Under the Gaganyaan Mission, ISRO will aim to send three people to space. Although the mission was planned for 2021, it was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). Under the mission, ISRO will send three flights into space. Two of these flights will be unmanned while one flight will be manned. The plan involves placing humans in the lower Earth orbit at an altitude of 300-400 kilometers for a few days. For this, ISRO has also done some tests which include Service Module Propulsion System (SMPS) and Parachute Deployment Test.
