The special thing is that Microsoft has taken this decision when there is less than a month left in the free upgrade offer of Windows 10. The offer of free upgrade to Windows 10 is ending on July 29. Microsoft will release an update to Windows 7 and Windows 8 users that will change the notification that offers a free upgrade to Windows 10.

Speaking to SiliconBeat, a senior Microsoft director said, “The company has heard complaints from users about the 'confusing' upgrade notifications and that's why the company is changing them.” We are working hard to solve this problem. “We started our journey with Windows 10 with a clear goal in mind,” Terry Merson, executive vice president of Microsoft's Windows & Devices group, told ZDNet. In the new notification, options of Upgrade Now, Choose a Time or Decline Free Offer will be available.
