Lenovo launches 3 new laptops with Intel Core H-Series processor, know the price

Lenovo has announced Lenovo Legion 7i, Legion 5i, and Legion 5i Pro gaming laptops. These laptops will be equipped with the latest 11th generation Intel Core H-series mobile processor. This announcement by Lenovo has come with Intel's 11th generation Core Tiger Lake-H processor in which it will bring three updated laptop models and will also launch a gaming monitor in the market. All laptops will come with Windows 10, Thunderbolt 4 support and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. All these gaming laptops will be equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX laptop GPUs which also include the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti and GeForce RTX 3050.

Lenovo Legion 7i, Legion 5i, Legion 5i Pro laptop, Lenovo Legion Y25g-30 monitor: Price, availability

The price of Lenovo Legion 7i (Storm Grey) starts at $1,769.99 (approximately Rs 1.30 lakh) and the price of Lenovo Legion 5i Pro (Stingray White, Storm Grey) starts at $1,329.99 (approximately Rs 97,700). These models will be available for purchase from June this year. Lenovo Legion 5i (Phantom Blue, Stingray White) price starts at $969.99 (roughly Rs. 71,300) and can be purchased from July 2021. The price of Lenovo Legion Y25g-30 gaming monitor starts at $699.99 (approximately Rs 51,400) and it will be available for purchase from October this year. Lenovo has not yet given any information about the international availability of its new laptops and gaming monitors.

Lenovo Legion 7i specifications

The Lenovo Legion 7i runs Windows 10 Pro and features a 16-inch WQXGA (2,560×1,600 pixels) IPS display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. It has a 3ms response time, 100 percent sRGB coverage, and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It has a brightness of 500 nits, VESA display HDR 400 certification, Dolby Vision support and Nvidia G-Sync support. Talking about the internal specifications, it has 11th generation Intel Core i9-11980HK processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU. It is paired with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM with a peak power of 165W. The Lenovo Legion 7i has up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage.

Talking about audio, it has a super linear speaker system with two 2W speakers and smart AMP with Nahimic audio. For connectivity, this device has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, three USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port and an Ethernet jack. Lenovo Legion 7i also has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1. The company says that its battery can give a backup of up to 8 hours. The weight of this gaming laptop is 2.5 kg.

Lenovo Legion 5i, Legion 5i Pro: Specifications

Lenovo Legion 5i has been launched in 15.6 inch and 17 inch display models. Whereas Legion 5i Pro has a screen size of 16 inches. All three models come with Windows 10 Pro. With a 15-inch screen size, the Legion 5i has a WQHD (2,560×1440 pixels) IPS display and its refresh rate is 165Hz. Its response time is 3ms and it has 100 percent sRGB coverage. It has a peak brightness of 300 nits, support for Dolby Vision and also Nvidia G-Sync support. Its 17 inch model has a full HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) IPS display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It has 72 percent NTSC coverage.

On the other hand, Legion 5i Pro has a 16-inch WQXGA (2,560×1,600 pixels) IPS display with a refresh rate of 165Hz and brightness of 500 nits. It has VESA display HDR 400 certification, Low Blue Light- TUV certification and 16:10 aspect ratio.

All three models can be fitted with 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU. It has 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. The maximum power of a GPU varies from model to model. The Lenovo Legion 5i and Legion 5i Pro come with up to 32GB of RAM, and the 17-inch Legion 5i comes with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz. Talking about storage, the 15.6-inch model has up to 2TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage while the other two devices have 1TB of PCIe SSD Gen 4 storage.
All these are said to have battery backup of up to 8 hours. Connectivity options are the same as the Lenovo Legion 7i laptop, but a card reader is also provided in the 17-inch Legion 5i. Two 2W speakers are provided for audio.

Lenovo Legion Y25g-30 gaming monitor specifications

The 24.5-inch Legion Y25g-30 gaming monitor features a FullHD (1,920×1,080 pixels) display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 360Hz refresh rate. It has a peak brightness of 400 nits and a 1ms response time. It covers up to 99 percent sRGB and has a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. It also supports Nvidia G-Sync and Nvidia Reflex. For connectivity, Legion Y25g-30 has a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B port, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, two HDMI 2.0 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 port. A 3.5mm audio jack is also provided inside it.
