Realme GT Neo 6 Gets BIS Certification, To Soon Launch in India

GT Neo 6 of Chinese smartphone maker Realme can be launched in the country soon. It is reported to have received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). It may replace the Realme GT Neo 5 introduced last year. Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 can be given as processor in it. Its display can be with 1.5K resolution.

A media report states that Realme GT Neo 6 has been spotted on the BIS website with model number RMX3851. However, information about the specifications of this smartphone has not been received. Recently it was also seen in Camera FV-6 database and Indonesia's P3DN website. This report says that Realme GT Neo 6 can have a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). The company has not given any information about this smartphone. Its battery can support 100 W fast charging.

Earlier this month, Realme launched Realme 12 5G and Realme 12+ 5G. These smartphones have a triple rear camera unit. MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G SoC has been given as processor in Realme 12 5G and MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G has been given in Realme 12+ 5G. These smartphones have a 5,000 mAh battery with SuperVOOC fast charging. These feature dynamic RAM technology that allows additional RAM to be added using unused storage.

The price of 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant of Realme 12 5G is Rs 16,999 and 8 GB + 128 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 17,999. This smartphone is available in Twilight Purple and Woodland Green colors. The price of 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant of Realme 12+ 5G is Rs 20,999 and 8 GB + 256 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 21,999. Three years of software updates and two years of security updates will be provided for this smartphone. The triple rear camera unit of this smartphone consists of a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Its front has a 16 megapixel camera for selfie and video calls.
