Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Series May Get Intel’s Core Ultra AI Chipset, Could Launch Next Week, HP, LG, Acer

South Korean consumer electronics company Samsung's Galaxy Book 4 series may be launched soon. It will replace the Galaxy Book 3 launched in February this year. This may include Galaxy Book 4 360, Galaxy Book 4 360 Pro, Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Galaxy Book 4 Ultra.

Recently the design of this series of laptops was leaked. A report by Yonhap News states that the Galaxy Book 4 series can be launched on December 15. These laptops are likely to have the new Intel Core Ultra chipset. These chipsets may contain neural processing units or NPU that are claimed to support offline AI functions. Samsung may be among the first companies to use these chipsets. This will help in editing photos and videos.

Earlier there was speculation that the Galaxy Book 4 series would be launched early next year. However, Yonhap News reports that the company may launch it next week to grab the position of the first AI laptop. Companies like HP and LG are also planning to launch AI laptops. In another report, key specifications of the Galaxy Book 4 series have been leaked. The base model Galaxy Book 4 of this series can have Intel Core Ultra 5 120U with 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and it can have a 15.6 inch full HD display.

The Galaxy Book 4 360 may have a full range hinge and S Pen. LPDDR5 RAM can be given in it. The price of both these base models can be less than $ 1,000. Galaxy Book 4 Pro can get 360 degree hinge and S Pen support. Both Pro models of this series can have Intel Core Ultra 7 155U chipset with 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM. The Galaxy Book 4 Pro is likely to sport a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels. A 16-inch display can be found in Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 with this resolution. The price of Pro models of this series can be less than $2,000. For the last few years, Samsung has been facing tough competition from other companies in the laptop segment.
