Vivo Y200e 5G to Soon Launch in India, Listed on BIS Website, Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo's Y200e 5G may be launched in India soon. Recently this smartphone was seen on Google Play Console and certification site GeekBench. In October last year, the company had introduced Y200 5G. Vivo Y200 5G has Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC chipset. It has a 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The battery of this smartphone is 4,800 mAh.

According to a media report, the new smartphone has been shown in the listing on the BIS website with Vivo brand and model number V2336. Its model number is similar to the recent listings on GeekBench V.0 and Bluetooth SIG. However, its different model number V2327 has been given on Google Play Console. However, this smartphone has been described as Vivo Y200e. The reason for this difference is not known. It has been told in this report that Vivo Y200e 5G can be given an octacore chipset whose model number is SM4450. This smartphone can have 8 GB RAM. Its other RAM and storage variants are not known. It can run on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. It may have a full HD+ screen with 1,080×2,400 resolution.

The listing on Google Play Console has also hinted at the design of this smartphone. It is visible in blue colour. Its design and camera module look similar to Vivo's recently launched Y series smartphones. It has a triple rear camera unit in a vertically placed cutout on a rectangular module. It has a hole-punch slot in the middle for the front camera. Its power button and volume rockers are on the right side.

Recently the company made Y200 5G available in a new variant of 8 GB + 256 GB. Its price is Rs 23,999. There is an instant discount of up to Rs 2,000 for customers of SBI, Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank and IndusInd Bank. The price of 8 GB + 128 GB variant of this smartphone is Rs 21,999. It can be purchased in Desert Gold and Jungle Green colors. This smartphone has a 6.67 inch full HD + (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED display. Its dual rear camera unit has a 64-megapixel primary camera.
