Acer launches 'world's thinnest convertible laptop' in India

Acer launched new two-in-one laptops in its Spin series at IFA 2016. Along with this, the company also introduced Swift and Predator series devices. Acer on Wednesday announced the launch of Spin 7 laptop in India. The price of this laptop is Rs 1,09,000. This laptop will be available at major retail stores across the country.

The company is calling Acer Spin 7 running on Windows 10 as the world's thinnest convertible notebook. This laptop is completely made of aluminum unibody whose thickness is 10.98 mm. Its weight is 1.2 kg. The display of the laptop can be rotated 360 degrees, converting this laptop into a tablet. At the launch, the company said that this laptop has a 14 inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS touchscreen display which can be fitted in a cover the size of a 13 inch laptop.

The Acer Spin 7 features a seventh-generation Intel Core i7-7Y75 processor, 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, a 256GB SATA III SSD, and two USB Type-C (USB v3.1) ports. It has Wi-Pi 802.11 ac connectivity, a memory card reader and a 2770 mAh 4 cell battery which is claimed to deliver up to 8 hours of battery life. Apart from this, this laptop comes with Dolby Audio Premium Technology.
