Asus launches Chromebook Flip C302 two-in-one laptop

Taiwanese company Asus has unveiled its Chromebook Flip C302 at the CES 2017 trade show. The price of this two-in-one convertible laptop is $499 (about Rs 34,000). This device with aluminum body can be rotated 360 degrees. So that it can be used in a tablet mode and stand mode.

Android apps support is provided through Google Play in Chromebook Flip C302. And there's also access to the app through the Chrome Web Store. The company claims that it will provide up to 10 hours of battery life. This laptop has a 12.5 inch LED backlit FullHD (1920×1080 pixels) display. This laptop runs on Chrome OS and has an Intel Core M6Y30 processor. It will have 4 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM option. Apart from this, option of 32 GB/64 GB/128 GB storage will be available.

This Chromebook weighs 1.2 kg and measures 304x210x13.7 mm. For connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, microSD card reader and two USB Type-C 3.1 ports are provided. Apart from this, two-in-one has backlit keyboard so that typing can be done easily at night. Along with this, an HD webcam is also provided.

Being thin and light, the Chromebook Flip C302 has a superior audio output. It has a built-in anti-virus protection. The base variant with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage will be available for $ 499 (about Rs 34,000) and for more storage and RAM you will have to pay extra money.
