ASUS ROG Phone 8 8 Pro spotted on Geekbench ahead of Launch Know specs

ASUS is set to introduce the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series on January 16 in the Chinese market. This lineup is expected to include three models ROG Phone 8, ROG Phone 8 Pro and ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. Their flagship gaming smartphone will compete with Red Magic 9 Pro.

A recent leak from Windows Report revealed the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro. Recently these smartphones have appeared on Geekbench, due to which their performance has been revealed and some specifications have also been revealed.

According to Geekbench, the model number of ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro is AI2401_C. These smartphones will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will work on Android 14. The phone will be provided with 16GB RAM. These smartphones have achieved a score of 2210 in single core and 6863 in multi core.

ASUS ROG Phone 8 Series Specifications:

According to previous leaks, the phone will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. ROG Phone 8 has up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the Pro model can get 16GB/24GB RAM configuration and 512GB/1TB storage. ROG Phone 8 Ultimate has Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It can get up to 24GB RAM and 65W fast charging support.

The Pro model can get 50 megapixel rear camera, 13 megapixel ultra-wide camera and 32 megapixel telephoto camera. There is a 32 megapixel selfie camera in the front. Both models may have IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. More information may be revealed soon. The ASUS ROG Phone 8 series will be introduced at CES on January 8, but the launch date is January 16. Asus is also preparing Zenfone 11 series compact smartphones. However, the brand may also showcase or tease the Zenfone 11 series at the CES 2024 event.
