From the beginning of 2023, big tech companies across the world had started making layoffs. Big names like Amazon, Microsoft, Google were included in this list. Now a report has revealed that 6 big companies of the world have almost stopped hiring in India. This year there has been negligible hiring from India in these companies. The global slowdown in the economy is being considered the reason for this.

Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix and Google (FAAMNG) have reduced hiring in India by up to 90 percent. There is no hiring from India in FAAMNG companies. According to ET report, there has been a 90% decrease in hiring from India in these companies this year as compared to 2022. The report says that the number of active hiring in companies is only 200.
