SpaceX Starship 3rd Flight test: Elon Musk's space company 'SpaceX' is going to make its third attempt. The third flight test of the world's heaviest rocket 'Starship' can be done in February. The company had conducted 2 tests last year. Both times the rocket had to be destroyed because it had deviated from its target. Space agencies around the world have their eyes on this rocket. If SpaceX is able to successfully launch the Starship rocket, then the hopes of sending humans beyond the Moon to Mars will increase.

What is Starship Rocket?

Starship is a reusable rocket. It mainly has two parts. The first is the passenger carry section, which will house the passengers, while the second is the super heavy rocket booster. Its length including the starship and booster is 394 feet (120 meters). Whereas the weight is 50 lakh kilograms. According to the information, the Starship rocket is capable of generating a thrust of 16 million pounds (70 meganewtons). This is almost twice as much as NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket.

What will happen with the success of Starship?

If SpaceX is successful in its launch, then in future with the help of this rocket, humans and important equipment can be taken to the Moon and Mars. If this happens, humans will not be limited to just Earth but will become a multi-planetary species. The American space agency is planning to send humans to the moon under the Artemis mission. After the Moon, there is a plan to send humans to Mars. Rockets like Starship can be very useful to fulfill this plan in the next few decades.
