Epic Games – Fortnite

Epic Games has asked for an injunction in the North American court so that Apple is forced to offer again the game Fortnite, banned from the iOS app store last month. The game developer said that the player base on the system has dropped 60% since the removal, and said that iOS represents nearly a third of the players registered in the game.

In its request to the court, Epic called Apple’s removal of the game a “retaliatory campaign”. The document reveals that the company has been banned from the App Store for a year and that this will cause irreparable damage.

The person responsible for Fortnite revealed that players on iOS total 116 million accounts in the game, out of a total of 350 million registered players, a third of the total. In addition to the iPhone and iPad, the game is available for Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch, in addition to Android.
