Google to Add New Minty Fresh Color for Pixel 8 Series

A new color will soon be added to technology company Google's Pixel 8 series. Launched about four months ago, this series includes Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. These smartphones have Google's Tensor G3 processor and up to 256 GB storage. Pixel 8 was made available in Hazel, Obsidian and Rose colors and 8 Pro in Bay, Obsidian and Porcelain colors.

Google has teased the new Minty Fresh color for Pixel 8 series on social media channels. It will be launched on January 25. Its price can be kept similar to other variants of this series. The new color may be exclusive to Google Store. The price of 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant of Pixel 8 in the country is Rs 75,999 and the price of 12 GB RAM + 128 GB storage of Pixel 8 Pro is Rs 1,06,999. The Pixel 8 has a 4,575 mAh battery and the 8 Pro has a 5,050 mAh battery.

These smartphones run on Android 14. It has a hole punch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Both of these are dual-SIM smartphones. The Pixel 8 features a 6.2-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and support for a peak brightness level of 2,100 nits. Google is preparing to bring repair mode in its Pixel devices. Later the company can make this feature available in all smartphones using Android. Earlier, South Korean consumer electronics company Samsung had added a new feature Maintenance Mode in its Galaxy devices.

In this mode, a new profile of the user is created, due to which when this mode is activated, the data of the main user gets locked. With this feature, users do not need to backup or reset their smartphone when they give it for service. This also reduces the need to log into a new device and setup everything again. Google is also working on such a mode for Pixel devices. Although. This feature of Google may be quite different from Samsung's maintenance mode.
