Honor 90 GT has been launched in China. The company also launched this smartphone and a new Honor Pad 9 tablet along with several other products at an event held in its home market on Thursday. The new Honor 90 GT device is the successor to the Honor 80 GT and comes equipped with features like Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 100W fast charging, and 50MP Sony IMX906 main rear camera sensor. Honor 90 GT has been launched in several variants, of which the base 12GB + 256GB storage variant is priced at 2,599 Yuan (about Rs 31,000) in China. Its 16GB + 256GB storage and 16GB + 512GB storage configurations are priced at 2,899 Yuan (approximately Rs 34,600) and 3,199 Yuan (approximately Rs 38,200) respectively. There is a top-of-the-line 24GB RAM + 1TB storage variant, which is priced at 3,699 Yuan (about Rs 44,200).

The Honor 90 GT is offered in Black, Gold and an exclusive GT Blue (with leather textured back panel) color options.

Honor 90 GT specifications

The dual-SIM Honor 90 GT phone runs on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 14. It has a 6.6-inch 1.5K OLED display, which, as per the company's claim, supports 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz PWM dimming. The 90 GT works on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

An import camera module at the rear includes a dual camera setup with three LED flashes. The setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main sensor with OIS and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The smartphone has a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.

Honor 90 GT has a 5,200mAh battery, which supports 100W wired charging. To improve gaming, it includes a 3D vapor chamber cooling system and X-axis linear motor. The phone has an RF enhancement C1 chip and comes with dual speakers and in-display fingerprint sensor.
