Infinix Smart 8 8GB RAM 128GB Storage Variant Launch Soon Price in India Under Rs 8000 Specifications Details

Infinix launched Smart 8 last month in January and now, the company is all set to launch its new variant. The smartphone was introduced only in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variants, but the new variant will double both the RAM and storage. Apart from this, the price of the upcoming variant has also been leaked. It has been told that the price of the new variant will be less than Rs 8,000. The phone comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery. It gets Android 13 Go Edition-based UI out-of-the-box. The budget offering has a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit.

Infinix Smart 8 is going to be launched soon in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The latest leak suggests that the price of this variant will be less than Rs 8,000. At present the exact date of launch has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be launched soon. It is not very common to find this configuration at this price.

Infinix launched the Smart 8 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage last month for Rs 7,499. The smartphone is available for purchase in Galaxy White, Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold and Timber Black color options.

The Infinix Smart 8 features a 6.6-inch HD+ (1,612 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, peak brightness of 500 nits, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The handset is powered by a 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, which is currently paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage. The RAM in the base variant can be expanded up to 8GB virtually, while the storage can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. It comes with Android 13 Go Edition-based XOS 13.

The Infinix Smart 8 comes with a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with an unspecified AI-supported lens and a quad-LED ring flash. The front camera includes an 8-megapixel sensor fitted with an LED flash unit. The handset also gets the Magic Ring feature, which is similar to Apple's Dynamic Island that shows users notifications, alerts, battery status, etc. The magic ring is visible around the cutout for the front camera.

Infinix has given 5,000mAh battery in Smart 8. The handset offers dual 4G, Nano SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity. For security, it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Its weight is 189 grams and size is 163.6 mm x 75.6 mm x 8.5 mm.
