Mahindra Getting Massive Demand for Scorpio N, Classic, 17,000 Bookings Per Month

Mahindra & Mahindra, one of the big automobile companies, is getting strong demand for Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic. The company launched these SUVs last year. Mahindra is getting around 17,000 bookings every month for these two SUVs.

According to a media report, these SUVs have 1.19 lakh bookings. The second best selling SUV for the company is Thar. Mahindra says that around 10,000 bookings are being made for it every month. It is available in both hard-top and soft-top variants. Apart from this, almost equal number of bookings are being received for Bolero and XUV700 and this figure is around 9,000 units. The company has around 70,000 bookings for the XUV700. Mahindra's XUV300 and EV XUV400 are getting around 6,000 bookings combined every month.

Heavy discounts are being given on Mahindra's SUVs during the festive season. These SUVs include XUV400, XUV300, Bolero and Bolero Neo. However, the company has not offered discounts on XUV700, Scorpio-N, Scorpio Classic and Thar. The highest discount is being given on XUV400 in November. It competes with EVs like Tata Nexon.ev. The discount on this ranges from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh depending on the variants. The maximum discount being given is Rs 3.5 lakh on its top end variant and Rs 3 lakh on the mid-trim variant. Recently the company updated XUV400 with new features.

The price of XUV400 ranges between Rs 15.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra has made the XUV400 available in five colors – Arcing Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Nepali Black and Infinity Blue. It also has a dual tone option of satin copper. The company claims that the XUV400 has the fastest acceleration capability in the non-luxury segment. It can reach 0-100 kmph speed in just 8.3 seconds. Its top speed is 150 kmph. Apart from this, benefits worth Rs 12. lakh are being given on XUV300. Its top end variant has the highest discount of Rs 95,000. The W6 variant of the XUV300 can be purchased with a discount of Rs 80,000. It also includes free accessories worth around Rs 25,000 from Mahindra.
