Realme could Soon Launch Realme 12 Pro+ with Periscope Camera, Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo

Chinese smartphone maker Realme is preparing to launch a new smartphone with periscope zoom camera. This smartphone could be Realme 12 Pro+. The company had introduced Realme 11 Pro+ in July this year. Sales of Realme's mid-range smartphones have increased rapidly in the last few years.

The company has given information about launching a new smartphone in the country in a teaser posted on social media platform X. Its tagline reads “No periscope no flagship”, indicating that this smartphone will have better optical zoom capability. In this teaser, the rear side of the smartphone is shown with a ring. Earlier this month, the company launched its first flagship smartphone Realme GT 5 Pro with periscope telephoto camera. However, the company has not confirmed the model of the new smartphone but it could be Realme 12 Pro+.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) has reposted the image given in this teaser and claimed that Realme 12 Pro+ can be launched in January. It may have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC as its processor. This smartphone can be provided with 64 megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

Realme 11 Pro+ has a 6.70-inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It has Octacore MediaTek Dimension 7050 as its processor. This smartphone runs on Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13. Its 5,000 mAh battery is with support for 100 W fast charging. The triple rear camera unit of this smartphone has a 200-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel secondary camera and a 2-megapixel sensor. Its front has a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port. Recently Realme launched Narzo 60x. It has a 50 megapixel primary camera. The price of 4 GB + 128 GB variant of Realme Narzo 60x is Rs 12,999 and 6 GB + 128 GB is Rs 14,499. This smartphone has been made available in green and black colors.
