Redmi A3 to Sell on Flipkart, Launch on 14 February

Chinese smartphone maker Redmi's A3 will be launched in India on February 14. This sub-brand of Xiaomi has confirmed the sale of this smartphone through e-commerce site Flipkart. Flipkart has created a separate microsite to provide information about the specifications of this smartphone.

The display of Redmi A3 will be with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This smartphone will be launched in the country on 14 February. Its price can be between Rs 7,000 to Rs 9,000. Along with Flipkart, Mi has created a separate microsite on its website for this. It is shown in green colour. It has 6 GB of RAM and support for 6 GB of virtual RAM. This smartphone may have a 6.71 inch (1,600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a touch sampling rate of 120 Hz. MediaTek Helio G36 SoC can be given as processor in it. It will have a dual rear camera unit with AI support. An 8-megapixel camera can be provided in its front for selfie and video calls.

This smartphone will replace the Redmi A2 introduced last year. The price of 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant of Redmi A2 is Rs 5,999, 2 GB + 64 GB variant is Rs 6,499 and 4 GB + 64 GB variant is Rs 7,499. In November last year, Redmi introduced the K70 series in China. This series included Redmi K70, K70e and K70 Pro. Their sales started in December. The company had made a record of selling more than 10 lakh units in two weeks of the start of their sales. Recently, Redmi had said in a post on the Chinese messaging platform Weibo that the K70 series has crossed the sales of 20 lakh units within two months of the start of sales. These are Xiaomi's first smartphones with HyperOS based on Android 14.

Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have 6.67 inch 2K displays. It has TCL C8 OLED panel. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 4,000 nits. These smartphones have support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. These have an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Triple camera setup is available in these smartphones. These have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support.
