Redmi G 2021 price, availability
The Intel Core i5 model of the Redmi G 2021 is priced at CNY 5,699 (roughly Rs. 64,900), while the AMD Ryzen 7 variant is priced at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 79,700). The Intel variant can be purchased in China from Thursday 23 September. However, the sale of AMD option will be started from September 28. At present, the company has not made any disclosure regarding the launch of Redmi G 2021 model in the global market.
The original Redmi G laptop was launched in the month of August last year, the base variant of the laptop with Intel Core i5-10200H CPU (60Hz display) was priced at CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs 60,300).
Redmi G 2021 specifications
Redmi G 2021 comes with Windows 10 (upgradeable to Windows 11). It has a 16.1-inch display, with 144 Hz refresh rate and TÜV Rhineland certification for low blue light. The Intel variant is equipped with 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11260H processor with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics. Talking about the AMD option, it is equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 5800 processor with Nvidia GeForce 3060 graphics.
The Intel and AMD versions of Redmi G 2021 are equipped with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The laptop has Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and DTS:X Ultra 3D surround sound experience. Apart from this, it has USB Type-C port for charging, three-level backlit keyboard and Xiao AI digital assistant.
The Intel variant comes with a 180W power adapter and includes two fans for heat dissipation. However, the AMD model features a 230W power adapter and a heat dissipation system with 12V dual fans, four air outlets, and five all-copper heat pipes.
