RedmiBook 16 and RedmiBook 14 II launched, know the features of these laptops of Xiaomi

RedmiBook 16 and RedmiBook 14 II series laptops have been launched by Xiaomi in China. These laptops are equipped with 10th generation Intel Core processors, which are the follow up to the AMD Ryzen equipped RedmiBook models launched in May. The Redmi Book 16 and Redmi Book 14 laptops feature 10nm Intel Core processors, part of the Ice Lake CPU series. Apart from this, these laptops come with the latest Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPUs. Not only this, many other configurations are available in Redmi Book 16 and Redmi Book 14 II.

RedmiBook 16, RedmiBook 14 II price

Redmi Book 16 laptop has been launched in two variants. One is the Core i5 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage variant, which is priced at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs 53,400). While the second variant of RedmiBook 16 comes with Core i7 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, which is priced at CNY 5,699 (approximately Rs 60,900). You will get this laptop in gray color option.

On the other hand, RedmiBook 14 II laptop has been introduced in four variants. A Core i5 8GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 50,200). The second variant Core i5 comes with 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage and 100 percent sRGB coverage, which is priced at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs 53,400). Talking about the third variant, it comes with Core i7 8 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, which is priced at CNY 5,399 (approximately Rs 57,700). The fourth and last model comes with Core i7 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, which is priced at CNY 5,699 (approximately Rs 60,900). Talking about color option, this laptop will be available to you in silver color.

The sale of both laptops Redmi Book 16 and Redmi Book 14 II will start in China from July 15. However, there is no clear information as to when these laptops will arrive in the international market outside China.

RedmiBook 16, RedmiBook 14 II specifications

There are very minor differences between both the laptops, the most major difference being the screen size. As the name suggests, the Redmi Book 14 II laptop comes with a 14-inch display, while the Redmi Book 16 laptop has been launched with a 16-inch display. Both laptops have full-HD screens and in Redmi Book 14 II, Xiaomi has also given the option of Better color accuracy for screen selection. Both the laptops are quite light and thin, equipped with 10th generation Core i7-1065G7 CPU and all variants come with Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU and 2 GB GDDR5 RAM.

Talking about connectivity, Redmi Book 16 and Redmi Book 14 II laptops have dual-band Wi-Fi 6 support, 2×2 MIMO WLAN, Bluetooth v5.1, two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, one HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack is provided. Windows 10 is pre-installed in both the laptops. To handle audio, it has been provided with DTS audio processing with 2 watt speakers.

RedmiBook 14 II has a 40Whr battery, while in RedmiBook 16 you will get a bigger 46Whr battery. The batteries of both the laptops support 64 Watt charging through USB Type-C port. Talking about dimensions, the Redmi Book 14 II laptop is 203.1×320.51×16.8 mm, weighing 1.3 kg. Whereas Redmi Book 16 laptop measures 232.86×367.20×17.55 mm and weighs 1.8 kg.
