RedmiBook and Mi NoteBook series not far from launch in India

RedmiBook and Mi-branded laptops may be launched in India soon. This information has been received through Xiaomi India. While the company is yet to make an official announcement, Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain along with key colleagues has started teasing the launch of these products through his social media accounts. RedmiBook and Mi Notebook models have been awaited for a long time in India. Recall that Xiaomi had also received a trademark for its RedmiBook brand in the country earlier this year.

The posted videos do not provide any information about the date or time of launch of this laptop, but it makes it clear that Xiaomi is preparing to launch Mi Laptop and RedmiBook in India soon. Apart from Jain, Sumit Sonal, marketing lead for the Mi brand, and Sneha Tenwala, lead for Redmi business, are among the key Xiaomi employees who have teased the new launch.

Last month, tipster Ishan Agarwal had claimed that Manu Kumar Jain has informed retailers about the launch of RedmiBook and Mi NoteBook models in the country. However, Aggarwal said the executive did not provide any concrete date or timeline for the launch.

Xiaomi has not yet made any official announcement of its plans to enter the notebook market with its new model. However, the Chinese company had already acquired a trademark for the RedmiBook brand which was also spotted in January.

Some laptops have already been launched under Xiaomi's Mi brand in China, including Mi NoteBook Pro 15, Mi NoteBook Air and Mi Gaming Laptop. The company also recently launched its RedmiBook lineup in the Chinese market, which includes RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14, and RedmiBook 16 models powered by AMD Ryzen 4000 series.
