This is an increase of 14.4 percent compared to the same period last year. Suzuki Motorcycle has sold 84,302 units in the country and also exported 16,205 units. The company expects the sales momentum to continue during the festive season.

The company sells motorcycles and scooters in the country. Its motorcycles include V-Strom SX, Gixxer SF 250, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF, Gixxer, Katana, Hayabusa and V-Strom 650XT. Apart from this, it sells Avenis, Access 125, Burgman Street and Burgman Street EX scooters. The company's Access 125 scooter had achieved the production of 50 lakh units in July. This was the first scooter in the 125 cc segment. The company updated the Gixxer motorcycles in February this year. These motorcycles were introduced with new colors as well as connectivity features. Gixxer and Gixxer 250 series will get Suzuki Ride Connect, which comes with a digital console with Bluetooth. These motorcycles will also get features like app turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call, SMS alert, WhatsApp alert display and missed call notification. Suzuki Motorcycles factory is in Gurugram, Haryana.

The company's Hayabusa is quite popular among those who like powerful bikes. The company launched its third generation GSX1300RR Hayabusa about two years ago. It has a 1,340 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, in-line engine, which can generate maximum power of 190 PS at 9700 rpm and peak torque of 150 Nm at 7000 rpm. It also has features like Suzuki Intelligent Ride System, Anti-Lift Control System, Engine Brake Control System, Slope Dependent Control System, Active Speed ​​Limiter, Motion Track Brake System and Hill Hold Control System.

A few months ago, production had to be stopped due to a cyber attack on the Suzuki Motorcycles plant. The company had informed the concerned government department about this incident. This plant of this Japanese automobile company is also a major source of export of two-wheelers.
