Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G 12GB RAM Android 14 to Launch Spotted FCC

Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will be introduced later this month. The upcoming phone will be an upgrade to Tecno Pova 5 Pro 5G. The company had earlier announced the launch timeline of the smartphone but did not give much information about it. However, the upcoming smartphone has now reportedly been spotted on a certification site, revealing some of its specifications. In one such listing, design, RAM, storage and charging capacity have been revealed. Here we are telling you in detail about Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G.

MySmartPrice report claims that Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G was spotted on the FCC database with model number TECNO-LI9. The report says that the phone with the same model number was earlier seen on Google Play Console. The design seen in the FCC listing suggests that the smartphone may be equipped with a dual rear camera unit with an LED flash unit, housed inside a large, trapezoidal camera module at the top left corner of the back panel. The volume rocker and power button are seen on the right side corner of the smartphone.

It is also clear from the listing that Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will have 12GB RAM and up to 256GB inbuilt storage. It will support 70W wired fast charging. The Google Play Console listing had revealed that the phone will be based on an octa-core chipset with two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz which will come with Mali G57 GPU. Although the SoC was not revealed, the core cluster and frequency suggest that it could be the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+. This phone will come with UI based on Android 14.

Earlier, Tecno had announced that the Pova 6 Pro 5G will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 which will be held in Barcelona between February 26 and February 29. The company also clarified that the upcoming smartphone will be the first model from the brand to offer support for Dolby Atmos spatial sound.

Tecno Pova 5 Pro 5G was launched in India in August 2023. Tecno Pova 5 Pro 5G has a 6.78 inch Full HD + display, whose refresh rate is 120Hz. MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC has been given in this phone. This phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging support. It works on Android 13 based HiOS 13.1 out-of-the-box.

The rear of Tecno Pova 5 Pro 5G has a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary AI-supported camera. The front camera of this smartphone has a 16 megapixel camera. At launch, the model, which was offered in Dark Illusion and Silver Fantasy shades, was priced at Rs 14,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 15,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant.
