Xiaomi introduced Windows 10 Mi Notebook Air

Xiaomi has launched its Mi Notebook Air laptop in Beijing today. The company has compared its new device with Apple's MacBook Air. The 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air is priced at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs 51,400), while the Mi Notebook Air with 12.5-inch display is priced at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs 35,300). The sale of these laptops will start in China from August 2.

According to Xiaomi, Mi Notebook Air is 13 percent thinner than Apple MacBook Air. The Mi Notebook Air has 5.59 mm ultra thin bezels. Xiaomi claims that the Mi Notebook Air with 13.3-inch display is 11 percent smaller than the MacBook Air.

Mi Notebook Air has been launched in 13.3 inch and 12.5 inch full HD display. Edge-to-edge glass protection has been provided in this laptop. Made from a full metal body, this laptop has a full size keyboard with backlit buttons. The dimensions of Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air are 309.6×210.9×14.8 mm and weight is 1.28 kg.

The 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air features a 6th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 1GB GDDR5 VRAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. Apart from this, an expandable SSD slot is also provided. Regarding the battery of Mi Notebook Air, the company claims that the battery provided in the laptop gets charged 50 percent in 30 minutes. According to the company, the battery will last for 9.5 hours. AKG custom gradedual speakers have been provided in this laptop. This laptop supports Dolby Digital sound.

The 12.5-inch display variant of the Mi Notebook Air weighs 1.07 kg and its battery life is claimed to be up to 11.5 hours. This laptop is 12.9 mm thin. This variant has Intel Core M3 processor and 4 GB RAM. Has 128 GB SSD. The laptop also has a second SSD slot.

Mi Notebook Air running Microsoft Windows 10 operating system can be synced with Mi Cloud. And it can be unlocked with the Mi Band. For games, Xiaomi has provided Nvidia GeForce 940MX graphics card in this laptop. This laptop has USB Type-C charging and two USB slots.
