Xiaomi launches two 'affordable' laptops, know the features

Xiaomi has launched two Mi Notebook Air variant laptops that come with Intel's eighth-generation Core i3 processor. One of these models has a 13.3-inch display and the other has a 15.6-inch display. Important features of both models of Mi Notebook Air include eighth generation Core i3 processor, up to 8 GB RAM, fast charging support and USB Type-C port. Both notebooks run Windows 10 Home Edition. Let us tell you in detail about both these laptops.

In the Chinese market, the price of 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air equipped with 8 GB RAM is 3,999 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 41,700). On the other hand, the price of 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model of 15.6 inch Mi Notebook Air is 3,399 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 35,500).

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.3 Inch Specifications

The new Mi Notebook Air runs Windows 10 Home. It has a 13.3-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display panel. It is equipped with 170 degree viewing angle and 80.1 percent screen to body ratio. 8th generation Intel Core i3-8130U processor has been used in the laptop. Along with Intel UHD Graphics 620, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB SATA SSD storage. It supports external hard drive expansion.

For connectivity, Mi Notebook Air has Intel's 2X2 dual-antenna, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and fingerprint sensor. The notebook has a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The dimensions of the laptop are 309.6×210.9×14.8 mm and weight is 1.3 grams.

The Mi Notebook Air has a full-size backlit keyboard. It comes with glass touchpad. A 40 watt battery is provided. The notebook has a 1 megapixel front camera for video calling.

The Mi Notebook 15.6-inch variant has an additional advantage over the 13.3-inch model. It has a 15.6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD storage. 8th Generation Intel Core i3 processor with dual fan cooling system and 2+2 heat pipe layout.

The Mi Notebook Air has one USB 2.0 port, one Gigabit Ethernet port, one HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 3-in-one card reader.
