NASA shared this image from its Instagram handle. It was written that the planet is twice the total size of all the planets in our solar system and is a giant gaseous planet. This planet has abundance of helium and hydrogen gases. NASA wrote that the Juno spacecraft captured two major storms looming over Jupiter in 2021. NASA said that at that time the Juno spacecraft was passing close to the planet for the 38th time.
However, NASA has said that to make it easier for people to understand, it has processed this photo. Even before this, pictures taken by Juno spacecraft have been revealed. Juno spacecraft was launched in 2011 and is operated by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. This spacecraft reached the orbit of Mars in 2016 and has been continuously monitoring the planet since then.
Also in July this year, Juno captured massive storms near the planet's north pole during its 43rd close encounter with Jupiter. Using its JunoCam, the spacecraft captured the spiraling wind pattern, similar to a hurricane.
