A shocking study related to cancer has come out, in which it has been said that cancer cases have increased by 79% in people under the age of 50. This figure is scary. Around the world, people under 50 i.e. people below 50 years of age are now becoming more victims of cancer. In 1990, the number of patients diagnosed with early cancer used to be 10.82 lakh whereas in 2019 it increased to 30.26 lakh. This shows that cancer is now making many times more people its victims than before.

The study says that deaths of cancer patients aged 40 years, 30 years and below have now increased by 27%. Every year approximately 10 lakh people are being diagnosed with cancer. The study said that in 2019, the highest number of deaths were seen in patients with cancer of the breast, trachea, bronchus, lung, stomach and intestine. The research has been published in BMJ Oncology. In this way, the main reason for increase in cancer cases is considered to be lifestyle and eating habits.

It has been said in the study that not eating proper or nutritious food, consuming alcohol etc., consuming tobacco, reducing or not doing exercise or physical activity at all, obesity etc. are some of the factors leading to the development of diseases like cancer. Are most responsible. On the contrary, early cancer attacks in the body can be prevented by leading a healthy lifestyle, eating nutritious food, avoiding tobacco, alcohol etc., and participating more in physical activities.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that cancer alone is responsible for 90.6 lakh deaths every year worldwide. Or we can say that every 6 deaths out of 10 are due to cancer. These figures are given for 2018. Talking about cancer in men, it is mentioned here that the highest number of cancer cases in men are found in lungs, prostate gland, intestines, stomach, and liver. At the same time, breast, intestinal, cervix, and thyroid cancer are more common in women.
