Gaganyaan Mission: Big information has come to light about India's first human space mission 'Gaganyaan'. According to PTI report, S Somnath, Chairman of the Indian Space Agency, ISRO, has said that after the first TV-D1 test flight on October 21, the space agency will complete 3 more test flights of this ambitious program. Remember that no astronaut will fly in the test flight. This will be just a testing flight.

The full name of TV-D1 is Test Vehicle Development Flight. It will be launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. S Somnath said that the first test vehicle flight of Gaganyaan mission will be completed on October 21. After that three more test missions D2, D3, D4 will be completed.

The aim of the Indian Space Agency is to send at least 3 Indian astronauts to the low-Earth orbit before the end of the year 2024. Gaganyaan will land at a fixed location in the Indian maritime border. ISRO has said that the success of the test flight will pave the way for the remaining qualification tests and unmanned missions.

The Gaganyaan project may have been delayed, but ISRO has not shown haste regarding this mission. The mission has been designed in such a way that it will be successful in the first attempt itself. For this, testing and demonstration have been increased. Recently, S Somnath had told that Gaganyaan was to be launched 2 years ago, but it has been delayed due to Corona. He had said, “Our thinking is different now. We do not want to rush. We have taken a decision. The main objective of this human space flight is a completely determined safe mission.”

If everything goes well, India will become the fourth country in the world after America, Russia and China to send humans into space. It has already been told in media reports that the crew members going on the mission will have many food options. Six different menus are being prepared. Breakfast is expected to include light items like upma, poha, idli. There will be meat and veg biryani options for lunch, while dinner may include items like chapattis, vegetables and meat with gravy.
