BHIM app has been developed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). With its help, people can send and receive money through Unified Payments Interface. This app is currently available only on Android platform and now a new feature called Aadhaar Payments has been added to it.

With its help, you will be able to send money directly to the Aadhaar number of any person. And this will be possible through BHIM app. This will prove to be very useful for those users who do not have a virtual payment address for UPI. That means you will get rid of the account number and IFSC code of the bank. To send money to Aadhaar number through BHIM app, some important things need to be kept in mind.

First of all, the Aadhaar number of the person to whom you are sending money should be linked to the bank account. If it is not so then you will not be able to send money through Aadhaar number. Secondly, BHIM app does not show the name of the account holder due to privacy and security reasons, so before sending money, make sure that you have entered the correct Aadhaar number.
