Luna 25 Mission Russia is evacuating its village to reach the moon
According to NDTV report, Russia has finalized preparations to launch its first Moon mission in nearly 50 years. In this sequence, Shakhtinsky settlement, a village located in the Far East of Russia, will be evacuated on August 11. This village is located in the area where the rocket boosters are about to fall. Keeping in mind the safety of people's life and property, the village is being evacuated.
According to Russian space agency Roscosmos, Russia is going to launch its first moon lander Luna-25 since 1976. It will be launched into space from Vostochny Cosmodrome, located about 5550 kilometers east of the capital Moscow.
Russia will launch the Luna-25 lander with the help of its well-known and tested Soyuz-2 rocket. It is claimed that this will be the first lander to reach the south pole of the Moon. The purpose of Russia's Moon mission is to search for water and other materials on the Moon. Russia hopes that after the successful landing, its lander will continue to work on the lunar surface for about a year.
It is not yet known when Russia's moon mission will land on the moon. At the same time, Chandrayaan-3 of the Indian Space Agency has entered the Moon's orbit. According to the plan, the mission will try to land on the Moon on August 23.
