Men And Women Life Expectancy Gap Narrows Across The Globe says study

At present, the age of people is increasing now as compared to old times. People now live longer lives. It is generally believed that women live longer than men. But a new study says that this gap is now decreasing. This means that now men have also started living longer lives. Let us know which factors are behind this change.

According to the report of New Scientist, people are now living longer lives than in the last century. It has been said that this trend will increase further in which the prosperity of the country will also play an important role. That means, the richer the country, the longer will be the life of its citizens. Women generally live longer than men. To understand this, researchers collected data from 1990 to 2010 and studied it. 194 countries were included in it. Looking at the trend of life length, researchers divided these countries into five different groups.

The report revealed that the countries which have the highest life expectancy are the countries with the highest incomes. Which includes Australia, Japan, America, UK and some parts of Western Europe. The countries which had the lowest life expectancy included Rwanda and Uganda. At the same time, when the difference in the lives of men and women in these countries was seen, the biggest difference was seen in Rwanda and Uganda. The average life expectancy in these countries was only 30.85 years in 1990, which increased to 45.22 years in 2010. Here a difference of 14.37 years was seen.

Whereas, if we look at the life expectancy of women, there was a difference of only 0.94 years. It increased from 50.37 years to 51.31 years. Overall, the study says that the age of the people there depends to a great extent on how rich a country is.
