Samsung Galaxy S24+ May Get Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo

Galaxy Unpacked of South Korean smartphone maker Samsung will be held on January 17. Galaxy S24 can be launched in this event. Galaxy S24 of this series may have Exynos 2400 chipset. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was given in all the Galaxy S23 smartphones introduced last year.

Tipster Tarun Vats has said in a post on social media platform X that the Galaxy S24+ of this series in the country may have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Exynos 2400 SoC can be given in Galaxy S24 and Snapdragon processor can be given in Galaxy S24 Ultra. This tipster has told that the price of 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant of Galaxy S24+ can start from Rs 1,04,999 or Rs 1,05,999. The price of 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant of Galaxy S24 Ultra of this series can be Rs 1,34,999 or Rs 1,35,999.

Recently, tipster Ishan Agarwal had given information about the colors of these smartphones in a post on X. Galaxy S24 can be made available in Grey, Yellow, Violet and Black colors in the country. There could be Violet and Black color options for the Galaxy S24+ and Titanium Grey, Yellow, Violet and Black color options for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Orange, Blue and Green colors of these three smartphones can be exclusive on Samsung's online store.

Some slow UFS 3.1 storage can be provided in the base variant Galaxy S24 of this series. The reason for this could be Samsung's efforts to reduce costs. South Korean blog Naver had said in a post that UFS 3.1 storage will be provided in the 128 GB version of Galaxy S24. However, other Galaxy S24 smartphones may have UFS 4.0 storage. UFS 3.1 is slower than UFS 4.0, which is based on Samsung's 7 V-NAND memory. Last year the company introduced UFS 4.0 with faster speed and power efficiency. The quad camera unit of Galaxy S24 Ultra can include a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel sensor with a 5x telephoto lens.
