Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra have been launched by the company on January 17 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Similar features have been given in it as was revealed in many leaks regarding the series. Smartphones have been launched with Galaxy AI tag in which inbuilt smart AI features are seen. These include the names of some features like Live Translate, Note Assist, and Circle to Search. The series has Android 14 based One UI 6.1 operating system and Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate. Galaxy S24 has 8GB RAM, while the top variants Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra have 12GB RAM.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC which comes with a specially optimized version for the series. Therefore, it has been named “Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for Galaxy. The company has used titanium frame in the phone. But its vanilla and Plus models come with aluminum frame. IP68 rating has been given in all three smartphones.

The price of the standard model of Samsung Galaxy S24 starts at $799 (approximately Rs 65,500) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. While the price of 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is $859 (approximately Rs 71,400).

The price of Samsung Galaxy S24+ starts at $999 (approximately Rs 81,000) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Whereas, the price of 12GB RAM + 512GB model is $1119 (approximately Rs 93,000). The starting price of the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the premium model of the series, is $1299 (approximately Rs 98,300). Its 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 1TB storage variants are priced at $1419 (approximately Rs 1,18,000) and $1659 (approximately Rs 1,38,000) respectively.

Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ have been launched in Amber Yellow, Cobalt Violet, Marble Grey, and Onyx Black shades. Galaxy S24 Ultra has been introduced in Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, Titanium Violet and Titanium Yellow color options.

The Galaxy S4 Ultra phone runs on Android 14 based One UI 6.1. The phone has a 6.8 inch Edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It has a 1Hz–120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The phone has a peak brightness of 2600 nits. Its display has a vision booster feature which makes it easier to use the phone display outdoors. Corning Gorilla Armor protection has been provided on the display. Its frame is made of titanium. A custom version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC has been provided in the phone. It has been named Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy. With which pairing of 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage is seen.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a quad camera setup that includes a 200-megapixel wide camera with an f/1.8 lens, and an 85-degree field of view. It also has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. The second sensor in the camera setup is a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens which has f/2.2 aperture and 120 degree field of view. Next is a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter with OIS support. The device has an f/3.4 aperture, and 5X optical zoom. The fourth lens in it is a 10-megapixel telephoto shooter with f/2.4 aperture, and 3X optical zoom. It is provided with OIS support. The company has provided a 5000 mAh battery in the phone with which 45W fast charging support is available. It comes with Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 which has 15W fast charging speed. According to the company, the phone can be charged 65 percent in 30 minutes. With this, other devices can also be charged for which it has wireless powershare support. Its dimensions are 79×162.3×8.6mm and weight is 232 grams.

The SIM and software specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ are the same as the Ultra models. The Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch FullHD Plus display while the Galaxy S24+ has a 6.7-inch display. Both have Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 120Hz variable refresh rate. These also have vision booster support. Both phones have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which is the same as the Ultra model. The Indian variant comes with Exynos 2400 SoC. The regular model has 8 GB RAM while the Plus model has 12 GB RAM.

Talking about the camera, the same rear camera setup is seen in Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. In which three cameras are provided. The first camera is a 50-megapixel wide camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens. It has 85 degree field of view and OIS support. The second lens is a 12-megapixel ultrawide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens, and a 120-degree field of view. The third camera is a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture. It has 3X optical zoom. The phone has a 12-megapixel selfie camera which has f/2.2 aperture and 80 degree field of view.
