Scientists developed Electronic Soil what is it What benefit will we get know

What is Electronic Soil: Population is increasing rapidly throughout the world. Cultivable land is shrinking and the crop production capacity of the soil is decreasing. Scientists have done a new research to ensure that the coming generations do not have to face food crisis. He has created 'Electronic Soil'. This is a kind of substrate, which is being called 'e-soil'. It is claimed that when 'barley' plants are grown in the substrate, their growth can be more than 50 percent in 15 days.

Before proceeding with the news, you have to understand the 'substrate'. It has nothing to do with the soil present in the ground. This is a kind of hydroponic farming, in which plants grow without soil. They need water, minerals and a substrate to which the plant's roots can attach.

The 'substrate' developed by scientists helps in electronically stimulating the roots of plants so that they can grow faster. Sweden's Linköping University has done this study. According to NDTV report, Associate Professor Eleni Stavrinidou, who was involved in the study, said that the population is increasing worldwide. There is also the problem of climate change. We will not be able to meet the world's food needs with current agricultural methods.

He said that food can be grown even in urban environments through hydroponic methods. Remember that similar technology is also used in the International Space Station. Scientists have grown many types of things there.

The study related to electronic soil has been published in 'Journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences'. The study says that the roots of the plants which were stimulated with electricity grew by more than 50 percent in 15 days. The special thing is that this type of farming can be done in closed places and minimum water is used.
