World smallest humanoid robot: Students of Hong Kong's Diocesan Boys School have created the world's smallest humanoid robot. This 5.5-inch robot is smaller than a standard ballpoint pen. The name of this robot has been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. Humanoid robots are a type of complex humanoid artificial machines. That means machines are made like humans. Developments in robotics, locomotion, and artificial intelligence have accelerated the development of humanoid robots over the past decade.

You might be wondering how a 5.5-inch robot can be made human-like. This is what the students of Diocesan Boys School have done. He not only made the robot capable of walking on two legs, but also prepared it in such a way that its shoulders, elbows, knees and hips could be identified. Because of these qualities, the robot made by the students was given the title of the world's smallest humanoid robot.

According to the report, the humanoid robot can be programmed through a mobile app. According to the students, they designed this robot for the underprivileged community, who are still away from STEAM education. In this type of education, instead of bookish studies, education is imparted using science, tech and engineering. The students say they wanted to design a small, cheap, rechargeable and programmable humanoid robot platform.

The report quoted students as saying that to promote STEAM education, students are also planning to open-source the design and programming code of this robot. This means that tomorrow someone else will also be able to prepare such robots.
