In January 2012, the average maximum and minimum temperatures for the entire month were 19.7 degrees Celsius and 7.5 degrees respectively. Whereas in January 2013 it was recorded 19 degrees and 6.1 degrees.
The Meteorological Department estimates that light rain or thundershowers along with strong winds are expected in many areas of the capital today. Talking about pollution, the air quality index of the capital was recorded at 357 on Tuesday, which falls in the very poor category.
