In her bio on X, she describes herself as the first Pakistani astronaut. She also claims to be the founding astronaut of Virgin Galactic. She is the founder of the Space Trust and the first Asian to skydive from the world's highest peak, Everest. The most important thing is that Namira Salim is also a singer.

Under the Galactic 04 mission, three people will be taken to suborbital space and brought back. Apart from Namira, British advertising executive Trevor Beatty and American astronomy educator Ron Rossano will fly in space.

Apart from the three astronauts, Virgin Galactic's Chief Astronaut Instructor Beth Moses will also be included in the space plane. The space plane in which everyone will fly goes high in the air with the help of another plane and then separates from the plane and reaches new heights with the help of a rocket motor. This is the company's fourth flight. Three flights have taken place in June, August and this month September.

The ticket price then was 2 lakh dollars (about Rs 16 crore). According to Space.com, Namira was among the 100 people who first bought tickets for the Virgin Galactic flight.
