Asteroid Towards earth: On November 12, when people were celebrating the festival of Diwali, asteroids were eager to shake the earth. One after the other, 5 celestial disasters tried to destroy our planet through different means, although they did not succeed. Now today i.e. on Monday 13th November also an asteroid is coming closer to the Earth. Let us know what kind of disasters have spread around the earth.

According to the website of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of the American space agency NASA, 5 asteroids passed close to our Earth on Sunday. The size of 3 of these asteroids was as big as an airplane. The 2 asteroids were the size of a house. If they had entered the Earth's orbit and collided with our planet, they could have caused destruction on a large scale.

Although NASA was confident that this would not happen, all five asteroids were categorized as potentially dangerous for the Earth because all the asteroids were passing very close to the Earth. Scientists believe that if an asteroid hits the Earth, it can cause destruction on a large scale. Millions of years ago, dinosaurs became extinct due to the collision of an asteroid with our Earth.

A recent study says that when an asteroid hit the Earth 66 million years ago, it caused winter on the Earth for about 15 years. The cloud of dust that arose due to the asteroid's collision did not allow sunlight to reach the Earth's atmosphere. This affected the process of photosynthesis in plants. There was a severe shortage of food for larger species like dinosaurs. Gradually their species became extinct from the world.

However, even today i.e. on November 13, an asteroid named '2023 VX' is coming close to the Earth. It is moving at a speed of 40 thousand kilometers per hour. There is no possibility of it colliding with the Earth, but scientists will keep an eye on it till the last moment, because asteroids can change direction at any time.
