iBall launches laptop worth Rs 16,499, know its features

Indian company iBall, famous for making smartphones and tablets, on Monday stepped forward in the computer market and launched iBall CompBook Exemplaire+ notebook. In view of the increasing demand for the laptop, the company has kept its price at Rs 16,499. On the sale of Exemplar Plus, the company has only said that this notebook will be sold through online platform, no official information has been received yet on when the sale will start. Coming with blue color option, this slim design notebook has a metal surface. In 2016, iBall launched the iBall CompBook Aer3 and iBall Slide PenBook Windows 10 2-in-1 with rotating touchscreen panels in the market.

The iBall CompBook Exemplar Plus, based on Windows 10, has a 14-inch (1366×768 resolution) HD display. This notebook works on a quad-core processor and its highest clock speed is 1.92 GHz. It has 4 GB DDR3 RAM and 32 GB onboard storage. You can expand it up to 128 GB with micro SD card.

Apart from this, it has a separate HDD slot for 1 TB storage. This notebook also has a touchpad, which will support touch functions and your gestures while zooming in/out. The buttons on its keyboard are raised and separated from each other, along with dedicated function and navigation buttons. Talking about power, this notebook has a 10000 mAh battery, which is claimed to run non-stop for 8.5 hours. It is also claimed that once fully charged, the laptop can remain on standby mode for 19 days and you can enjoy music with it for 37 hours.

Apart from this, you have been given options like wireless connectivity (with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth), mini-HDMI, two jacks for headphones and microphone and USB support in the notebook. The company has provided dual speakers in it, which provide stereophonic sound quality. iBall says the CompBook Exemplar Plus meets the needs of a regular notebook user. This notebook will compete with the entry-priced notebooks of Acer, Asus and HP present in the market.
