NASA James Webb Telescope Capture Stunning Shot Of Newborn Sun Like Star 1000 light years away

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope has now become the power for the human eye to see far into the universe. The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is the most powerful telescope ever invented by man. Now this super telescope has captured in the photo the process of birth of a celestial body like a star or rather the Sun. This is an amazing phenomenon that reveals what our Sun might have looked like at the time of its birth thousands of years ago. The star whose image has been captured by the telescope is still in its initial stage, and light is seen bursting at supersonic speed from both its ends i.e. the poles.

NASA has shared the photo of this star on its social media handle. The light seen around a newly forming star is known as Herbig-Haro objects. According to the space agency, this star is located 1000 light years away from the Earth. The constellation in which it was born is known as Perseus constellation. While sharing the image, NASA has written, “If we could have taken a photo of the time of the birth of the Sun, it would have looked something like this. @NASAWebb What is visible in the image is a newly born star whose pole is moving at supersonic speed. The gas is being thrown into space in 1977. It is only a few thousand years old now, but when it grows up it will be similar to our Sun.

Explaining further about the process, NASA said that Herbig-Haro is formed when jets of gas erupt from both ends of the newly born star and collide with the surrounding gas and dust present in space. NASA said that this new star is a class-0 prostar which is only a few thousand years old. Its weight is only 8 percent of our Sun's weight. But it will gradually take the same shape as our sun.

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope was launched in 2021. It started its work from 2022 in which it started collecting data. Since coming into operation, the James Webb Telescope has detected many pre-existing galaxies, and has discovered several black holes. It is said to be 100 times more powerful than the Hubble Telescope.
